Ingram Micro to roll out iPhone 5s and 5c in India

California-based electronics company and distributor of iPhone in India, Ingram Micro, is set to launch the latest products in the Apple’s iPhone lineup, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5c, across all its retail stores in India on 1st November 2013. Apple has already unveiled it’s plan to release the new smartphones in India on 25th October.

Ingram Micro’s retail stores will feature all the versions of iPhones including GSM, CDMA,
3G and 4G, while the cost of the smartphones were not disclosed. Both the cell phones will be available in India without any contract. Along with Ingram Micro, global telecommunication companies Reliance Communications and Airtel are selling the handsets in India.

The new iPhone 5s, which is expected to have a price around INR54,000, features a 4-inch Retina Display, LED flashlight, 8-mega pixel rear back camera capable of recording 720p high definition movie in 120fps. It is incorporated with a M7 motion co-processor chip and powered by A7 chipset.

The iPhone 5c, expected to be priced at INR42,000, features A6x chipset, 4-inch retina display,  1.2 mega pixel front camera for FaceTime and a high battery life than the previous iPhone models. Both the phones are said to have a battery life of up to 10hrs on 3G network, 10hrs on 4G and wifi network. The new smartphones also supports 4G LTE (TD-LTE).

The 5s will be available in three different colors such as space grey, gold and silver where as the  5c will be available in five different colors including blue, pink, green, white and yellow colors.

The 5s is thin, light and sleek compared to the previous models and also smaller than the 5c.The iPhone 5c will come in three versions based on the storage capacity including 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB while the lower version of 5s will have a storage capacity of 16 GB and higher version will have 32 GB storage ability. The chipset in iPhone 5s is more advanced compared to the iPhone 5c chipset.
